An aimless stroll into a curious old shop leaves Rick (Robert Alda) strangely attracted to a magnificently crafted doll. When he inquires as to its origins the shopkeeper gives him the name and address of the girl whose likeness the doll was created from. Once Rick has left the premises, the shopkeeper produces another doll - this one in the likeness of Rick's current fiance. His visit to the address the shopkeeper gave him produces a beautiful girl who pledges him her eternal love - all he has to do is join her religion.
